Release Assistance

Our team can take your final product and send it to Digital Distribution company of your choice for you. You will create your account on your chosen platform, and pay any fees associated with that platform. We will then do the work of uploading all files and artwork to the service for you.

We will need a high-resolution version of your artwork, in digital form (PNG preferred) before submitting your songs to digital distro.

Digital Distribution is a 3rd party service not associated with Blue Lagoon that sends your songs to selected online streaming platforms automatically. Usually Digital Distribution platforms charge a one-time fee or are subscription based. Once your songs are submitted, they should stay on streaming platforms indefinitely, as long as you continue paying the subscription.

Digital Distribution platforms prefer to receive your files at least 4 weeks prior to your release date.

Examples of Digital Distribution services are: Distrokid, CD Baby, and TuneCore

Our team can take your final product and send it to a CD Production facility of your choice for you. You will create an account on their website, and pay any fees associated with the production of your CDs. We will then do the work of uploading all files and artwork, and ordering the CDs. 

We will need high-resolution versions of your CD artwork, in digital form (file type will vary depending on which CD Production company you choose) before sending your songs to CD production.

Physical CD production is a 3rd party service not associated with Blue Lagoon that will put your songs and artwork on a CD and CD case, and manufacture physical CDs for you. There are several different designs for physical CDs that you can choose from, each being at a different price. Usually CD manufacturers will make as many CDs as you would like, but many have a minimum order amount.

CD Production manufacturers prefer to receive your files and artwork at least 4 weeks prior to when you wish to receive your CDs.
